About the Author; Jennifer Underwood
ItThe Glory Report was born from a desire to share her experiences and insights, creating a space where others can relate to the "bullshit" life throws our way. It's about turning life into awesomeness from a total mess, relatable lessons, and relationships. Here are some words from Jennifer herself:
If life is a rollercoaster, then honey, I’ve been on the ride that wasn’t even inspected properly. I’ve had the twists that snatched my edges, the drops that stole my breath, and the turns that made me question every decision I ever made. And guess what? I’m still here — hips swaying, chin high, and thriving louder than ever. I've been divorced. I've been remarried.
And now, I’m a widow at 43 — something I never imagined I’d have to be. But life doesn’t ask for permission before it flips your world upside down. It just does. And you either crumble… or evolve. I chose to evolve.
I’ve launched businesses, closed businesses, rebooted businesses, and built dreams from scratch more times than most people redecorate their living room. I’ve made mistakes big enough to write three books and comebacks bold enough to sell out the sequel. Failure didn’t break me — it raised me.
These days, I’m a wish to be/will be guidance counselor, using all the wisdom life shoved into my lap to help others navigate their own chaos. I’ve learned the hard way that some storms come to destroy you, but others come to wash away what you never needed in the first place.
This blog is my place to speak my truth — the messy parts, the magic parts, and the “girl, you won’t believe what happened next” parts. I’m here to inspire, empower, and remind anyone reading that it’s never too late to rewrite your story with a little more grace… and a whole lot more attitude.
I am the woman who didn’t just survive her past — I outgrew it.
I am the woman who took every hit life threw and used it as fuel.
And I am the woman who now steps forward with clarity, confidence, and a damn good sense of humor.
Welcome to my corner of the internet.
Come for the honesty, stay for the resilience, and don’t be surprised if you leave feeling a little stronger, a little braver, and a whole lot sassier.
You should also know that you can be your absolute, 100% genuine self and will recieve ZERO judgment, only relatable experiences that I've learned along the way. BE YOU. You're safe here.
So I encourage you to respond in comments under blog post that you relate to, find interesting or would like to talk more about it. I will ALWAYS BE the writer who engages with her readers. Always.
Last thing! Please note that any and all advice or guidance from The Glory Report Blog is NOT medical advice, Licensed Therapy or anything of that nature. It Is strictly my own thoughts, suggestions, and advice. If you are facing severe depression, anxiety, suicidal, or anything slightly heavy, I beg you to pick up your phone and seek medical support from a licensed professional.
Turning Mess Into Awesomeness
Hi Everyone!
I'm the chaotic author of this frantically written blog. My name is Jennifer Underwood and I'm 43 years old. I have lived in Louisiana for most of my life, for the exception of 10 or so years. I love my life, 000finally, but I had many troubled years where trying to find my footing in life seemed impossible. I've faced many years of struggle, failure, depression, carelessness, and I've also shared many happy years filled of nothing but love and success. Life has been good to me. The reason for all the wrong turns and empty endings were due to my decisions. You live and you learn, right?
Absolutely. That's why I created this blog, to help those who are at a turning point, need guidance, or just simply some words of wisdom or someone who can relate.
The Glory Report helps you transform your "total mess" into "awesomeness" by providing the tools you need: patience, a resilient mindset, unwavering willpower, faith, and unshakeable self-confidence.
